• sl st = slip stitch
• ch = chain
• dc = double crochet
• htr = half treble crochet
• tr = treble crochet
• dc dec = double crochet decrease = double crochet 2 together
• dc 3 tog = double crochet 3 together

Pattern

Join each round with a sl st.

Fresh colour at each round.

1. Into a magic loop work 3 ch (first tr), 11 tr  
2. *2 dc into each of the next 3 stitches, 4 ch.* Repeat * * 3 more times.
3. Join into chain space. 1 ch, *5 dc into ch space. 1 SC into each of the next 6 SC. Repeat from * 3 more times.
4. Join at start of loop. 3 ch, tr into same stitch. 2 tr into each of the next 4 stitches. Dc dec three times.  * 2 tr into each of the next 5 stitches. dc dec three times.* Repeat * * 2 more times.
5. Join at start of loop.
   • *dc into first 3 stitches.
   • htr into next stitch.
   • 3 tr into next stitch.
   • 2ch,
   • 3 tr into next stitch.
   • htr into next stitch.
   • dc into next 3 stitches.
   • dc3 tog*.
   • Repeat * * 3 more times.
6. Join into 2 chain space (original pattern continued with same colour)
   • *3 dc into ch space.
   • dc into next 2 stitches.
   • htr into next stitch.
   • tr into next 2 stitches.
   • skip 2 stitches.
   • 2 tr, 2 ch, 2 tr into next stitch.
   • skip 2 stitches.
   • tr into next two stitches.
   • htr into next stitch.

7. Join into 2 chain space
   • * 5 dc into space.
   • Skip 2 stitches.
   • dc into next 3 stitches.
   • htr into next 3 stitches.
   • 2 tr, 1 ch, 2 tr all in next stitch – corner

   • dc into next 3 stitches. Skip 2 stitches.
