Another month has flown past and that’s still my excuse for the delayed post. Which is additionally embarrassing as it’s such a short one. ? I had hoped to complete all the squares for my flower blanket but due to classes, impromptu furniture painting and a lost crochet hook I’m about a week behind where I should be.

Decorative Plant Pots
Painting plants pots has a mixed response on craft internet. The finished project can look great but it may not be the most long lasting of results. The nature of the clay is that it retains moisture which is good for plants but not for paint.

Christmas Tree Decorations

Leaf printing
When I set up the class schedule in January I wasn’t sure what Autumn Crafts was going to be. It had to be something that could be enjoyable for people with a range of abilities and if possible have a practical / useful end product as many of the residents prefer that. Garden bench
Just over a year ago I “rescued” a garden bench from the bulk waste collection. I remember it clearly as it was the day of the elections and it was raining steadily. I had seen it when I taken my daughter to school, gone to vote on the way back and it was still there when I came home. This was fate.
