    Milk Cafe Crafting

A friend has been telling me for weeks about how much she’s been enjoying the recent craft classes at the Milk Cafe in Glasgow. It’s a not just a fabulously friendly little cafe with tasty home-cooked food, it’s also a great social enterprise providing a venue for a variety of projects. They’ve been running craft taster sessions, which obviously is my sort of thing, and this week I was finally able to attend.

    Needle felt

I’ve never been interested in the tradition wet felting techniques, probably because I’ve shrunk too many jumpers by accident, but needle (or dry) felting has so many permutations from small figures to pictures that it has grabbed my interest.

    Unintended purchasing

Sometimes I shouldn’t be allowed out on my own or more importantly out with a certain friend. Children in sweet shops are more restrained.
