Picture Frames

Our second decoupage class at the residential care homes this year. It’s a popular activity with the residents so I like to incorporate it regularly.

We’ve already done Easter decorations this year and boxes last year so I thought we could try stretching their abilities to do picture frames. It’s slightly more tricky, getting a neat edge but the residents like practical projects.

After a bit of online searching I found some ideal wooden frames from Baker Ross and while I was on their site I got a selection of tissue paper packs; gold & silver, multicoloured and rainbow.

The paper packs were MUCH bigger than I expected and I now have enough tissue paper to supply the classes for the next year!

The project was received very well by all the groups and some of the finished pieces are shown below.
